DRUID Discoveries

DRUID DISCOVERIES make the most out of Nice, inviting conference delegates on trips that are sure to stimulate and relax before the conference dinner. The excursions are not included in the conference fee and registration and pre-payment is required. Please see your online conference profile.
Both excursions will begin at the conference venue and end at the DRUID DINNER venue. Please register for only ONE excursion.
DRUID Discovery 1: Nice by Boat! The DRUID highlife

Join other DRUIDs on a two-hour cruise along the Cote d'Aur! The luxury boat will offer sun, views, and drinks, and will drop us off in Nice harbour close to the DRUID Dinner venue in the Palais De La Méditerranée.
Refreshments will be provided. Remember your sun lotion, sunglasses and hat, and perhaps swimming gear!
Pick-up: 16:30 at main conference venue (Campus Saint Jean d'Angely). End: 19:00 at the DRUID conference dinner venue.

DRUID Discovery 2: Nice on foot! Classic sightseeing

Join us for a city walk covering some of the classic sights of the Old Town of Nice, with guides knowledgeable about local history. It will be two hour's lovely, quaint, relaxed walk, offering a refreshment in the guide's personal favorite haunt, ending at the DRUID Dinner venue in the Palais De La Méditerranée.
Pick-up: 16:30 at main conference venue (Campus Saint Jean d'Angely). End: 19:00 at the DRUID conference dinner venue.

DRUID Discovery 3: Just DRUID! Your own way
Wind your own way through the temptations of lovely Nice, until you arrive at the Conference Dinner venue. At your own peril: Drinks might be involved, so pick your excursion partners carefully.
No registration required – walk, swim, or take a taxi at your own initiative and leisure.
Please arrive at the DRUID conference dinner venue at 19:00.
