Friday evening and night, DRUID hosts the DRUID DECADENCE after party. A true DRUID tradition, the Decadence has made DRUIDs dining and dancing the night away in Barcelona, Copenhagen, Lisbon, London, New York, Nice, and Rome. This year, DRUID Decadence will take place in a spot known to locals but rarely experienced by visitors: the fabulous Toronto Islands.  We have booked the Island Riviera and Runaway Café and arranged for relaxed food, good drinks, and dance music.  Enjoy the serenity of the islands while watching the sun set over the Toronto skyline.

The Toronto Islands are reachable by ferry and water taxi. A ferry ticket is included in the registration. The ferries run once per hour, so be aware of time!  Catch the 19:30 ferry to Ward’s Island to arrive at the Riviera by 19:45.  Most important, the last ferry to the mainland is at 23:45, so expect to finish at the Riviera by 23:30! [If you miss the ferry, water taxis are available as needed.]

For the adventurous, catch an earlier ferry and explore the islands – for example, take the ferry to Centre Island, wander through the amusement park (closes at 6pm), and stroll through the islands for 3km to reach the Island Riviera and Runaway Café. [Your ferry ticket is valid for any destination on the Toronto Islands.]
